This is more a dumping ground/inspiration-space for Random Shit That I Find Interesting. So sorry if you were expecting wit, intelligence, or over-arching thematic consistency of any definition.

Astronomy / Physics / Science / Philosophy.

Art, fantasy and SF. Artwork, pretty things, robots and monsters.

The Natural World. I'm interested on everything. Or just one thing. The Universe and everything contained within it.

Nerdish things. Television, stupefying complexity, or terrible cheese. Variety and contradiction are the spice of life after all.

Mythology. Greek, Roman, Norse. Insufficiently educated to talk sensibly about others.

Intelligence. Knowledge. I drink it in, am challenged and humiliated by it. Experience futile rage at the limits of my own mind, and fading memory. The ability to comprehend and be amazed by something, yet witness your understanding fade and fragment through the brutal passage of time.

History. France, chateaux, immersive imagination. Just wish I had more transport/money given the context and opportunities available at the current point in location and time.

Stories, horror, thought-experiments, fear. Boundaries to be challenged and explored.

Chocolate. Cake. Tea. Preferably all at once. One can never have too many teapots.

Reading outside. In the forest, a hammock, or hidden in the long grass. Under the dappled shade of trees.

Photography and nature. Mountains and forests, wild empty places.

Long hikes across the hills, to take photos, forage wild food, write stories in my head, and think.

Medieval villages, castles and chateaux. History, art, costume, decadence.

Strange creatures. Legends and Mythology. Dark Arts and Diseased Imaginings.
Gods and Monsters.

Were-cats, wolves, Wild things.
Wings, Antlers and Claws.

Geekery, Nerdiness. Linux, Vintage Sci Fi, robot armies and sentient AIs.
Comics, anime, mashups and wtf**kery.

These are the glorious things
Close to my black little heart.
